This is our third time staying at the sandy beach house, we enjoyed Christmas there and it was perfect. It has everything you need, equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, hot tub on the ocean, awesome deck and stairs to a private beach! Hoping to stay again soon!

Absolutely beautiful week. Watching the wildlife was awesome. We were five adults and very comfortable at this location. The property management we have used before and are very happy with. They called us to let us know the property was ready early.

This house is even better than it appears in the photos, and the view is more beautiful. We spent seven wonderful nights at Sandy Beach and were sad to leave. The house is lovely and in a perfect, quiet location, steps from Fiscalini Ranch Preserve and a 5-minute drive to Moon Beach or the cute little town of Cambria. It's a short drive to Hearst Castle and a tour there shouldn't be missed. The home's beds and linens were incredibly comfortable in all three rooms. After long days walking along the beach, the hot tub was a wonderful treat. It was also really nice to have a washer and dryer. We cooked dinner at the house a couple of evenings and ate it on the deck overlooking the gorgeous sunset. Waking up each morning to drink our coffee while looking at that view of the water was heavenly.

The only real issue we had was that it got quite hot in the house in the afternoons because of all of the west-facing windows, and the A/C wasn't really powerful. We slept with the windows open, and that did the trick. The property is well-maintained, and Breen promptly responded to our request to clean the hot tub when we first arrived. It is important to note that getting down to the beach is a bit difficult due to the poor condition of the stairs, but we managed to do it one day with my 76-year-old mother, who has bad knees.

We highly recommend this property to those seeking a relaxing, peaceful, and gorgeous location on the water, and hope to return soon ourselves.

The house was clean and well-prepared. The views are great, but I would make these suggestions. Have the windows cleaned for the guests, re-stock the kitchen with better cookery, and have the lights on the balcony and staircase to the stairs working. We did have an issue with the ovens not working, but the management team and the owner worked to fix it and find an overall solution.

Excellent check-in, location, view, etc. 3 private bedrooms with their own bathrooms. But the knives were dull and cookware wasn't the best. I wish it had local cable so we could've watched live sports, but we had to go to a bar to watch it with no sound.

Staying at Sandy Beach almost every year for many years (we can't remember how many!), brings us some peace and sanity after the rest of the year in Los Angeles. The house is great. The only small
Issue we had was the water softener needing a bit more salt. But it was so inconsequential, we didn't let them know. All in all, a perfect 5 days.

This property has to be one of the best oceanside locations in the entire VRBO network. The home is positioned right on the Pacific Ocean with views that never spoil. The photos in the description of this property really don't do it justice as to how breathtakingly beautiful the scenery is. That is why you rent this home...location, location, location!

There are three bedrooms in the home, each with a king sized bed and a full bathroom (shower/toilette).

- The master bedroom is on the main floor and it has the best views of the ocean.
- Another bedroom is also on the main floor, but it faces towards the street with no views of the ocean.
- Another bedroom is upstairs with good views of the ocean.

The kitchen was sufficient for what we needed. There are two coffee makers (drip machine & K-Cup) There were ample pots/pans/dishes etc. There is a double oven plus a microwave. The range was electric (5 burners and a hood fan.) Our only wish was for better quality wine glasses, but it is what it is. The pantry was pretty sparse...but that's okay, not an expectation.

The fireplace worked great. The Wifi worked great. The TV is equipped with Roku.

The outside deck was well built and safe. The outdoor patio furniture was solid, with the cushions being found in the garage. Washer/Dryer worked/nice.

Adjacent to the property are really nice walking trails.

Very nice older house with gorgeous ocean cove. Feels like as cheap a rental as possible. The minimum. At a very expensive per night, feels very cheap and minimum. Rocky. No regular tv to see games. No kitchen stuff. Cheap. Beautiful view.

We loved this house. It was bright and airy with amazing views of the surf and cove. The furniture was comfortable and house has everything you need. The beds were a little soft for us but that is personal preference. Best of all, you have steps down to a private beach. I loved being able to easily get down on the sand. It is also right next to the entrance to Fiscallini Ranch which provide great hiking opportunities. Breen was very responsive. When we arrived the windows needed washing and they sent someone out first thing the next day even though it was on the weekend. We highly recommend this house and hope to stay there again.

Great house right above the beach in a small cove. You could hear the waves even with the windows closed. Very big picture windows for a great view. The gas fireplace was nice as it was cool in the evenings in February. Very private, we never saw any neighbors out on their back decks the entire time we were there. . All bedrooms have direct access to a bathroom. The deck hot tub was preheated which was very nice. The only downside was there is only 1 bathtub between the three bathrooms, a jacuzzi tub, and it was not working even for a regular bath. It is right next to the Fiscalini Ranch Reserve so aloof of street traffic but we never heard it inside the house. We did have to run into town to pick up and drop off the keys which is a minor inconvenience vs having a combo box like other rentals we have had but Main street is very close.The property manager was very responsive to emails and calls. Overall a great place to stay!

This was the worst vacation rental experience I have ever had. When we arrived, the windows to the ocean were dirty and we had to clean them. The kitchen was truly the worst stocked one I have ever been in. There were no kleenex anywhere in the house. There was one single garbage bag for a week. The coffee maker (cheapest possible one) was partially broken. The silverware was the cheapest you could possibly buy. The dishes were all plastic. And the price was $900 per night which is very pricey. Yes, the view is lovely but the amenities were not at all comparable to the house.
Breen Realty has an attitude that the customer is never right. Neither the office manager nor Ms. Breen made the slightest effort to help or be understanding in any way. In fact, they were the opposite of that. They have shown they don't care and I do not want to be in business with those kind of people. Skip Sandy Beach and skip Breen. You deserve to be treated better.

As always, a great stay. Nothing major wrong but there was some mold in the tile grout in the master shower, and the water was way too soft. Def needed salt added. Still, nothing compares to this house. And the folks at the office are always friendly and helpful.

This home has to be the absolutely best & most beautiful in all of Cambria. Nothing can compare to the fantastic views from the deck. However, the management company overlooked a few items. The most disappointing being that the windows were very dirty. For the price that this rental goes for, the windows should be cleaned before every check in. The right side of the master bedroom window did not open, which was needed because of the hot weather. The BBQ igniter was broken. Lastly, the remote control for the downstairs TV had dead batteries. We did enjoy the new TV, but wish that the master bedroom also had a TV.

Our stay at Sandy Beach was wonderful. The home was everything that was written about it. The layout of the home makes it a relaxing stay with views of the ocean every time you turn your head. The house was clean.
Loved that it was so close to the bluffs for walking. Also very close to town for a quick drive in to explore.
Overall we will be back again.

The location was amazing, the private beach and deck views were among the very best. We would definitely come back. That said, a few things that could be improved: Windows were so dirty you could not see the ocean, we cleaned them ourselves. Master bathtub was not operational. Kitchenware old and mismatched, terrible barware. No dresser in downstairs guest room and NO decent beach chairs, one rusty beach chair and one camp chair. For $3,100 for 3 nights these things should be fixed along with some decent liquid soap in the bathrooms (cheap bar soap). Also, a drop box to pick up and deposit key after stay rather than having to drive to the rental agency.

We have been making our annual treks to Cambria for more than 30 years. In recent years we have been renting homes through Breen Realty and the experience has always been outstanding!

From the moment we walked into the home we were delighted and awed by the views. The home was beautiful, light, bright, spacious, well appointed, cozy, welcoming, and provided everything we would need. The loft was a perfect, roomy, work-from-home spot. The hot tub was clean, fresh, hot and sparkling next to the sparkling sea. This is a treasure I hope to revisit!

We stayed at one of the seaside properties this summer (2020). The property was amazing, but the people at Breen made the difference. They were great to work with and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Sandy Beach was just what we all needed. You could choose to go for a hike or just sit and watch the birds and the waves. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This was such a lovely place to stay. I still miss the sounds of the ocean waves in the morning and the picturesque views during sunrise and sunset. The place was Very family friendly and is located next to a Wonderful nature/open space walking trail. Cambria has a cute downtown with shopping and yummy foods. Also, there are some fun sites to see such as Hearst Castle, the elephant seal and the light show.

On this occasion we needed to contact them on more than one occasion while staying in this home, and each time they were most accommodating. Our only complaint with this property was the water pressure in the kitchen sink, which made cleaning up a major issue. They did send over a plumber but he was unable to resolve the problem while we were there. Apparently the issue was with the faucet fixture and a replacement wouldn't be replaced in time while we were there. Also it seems that this wasn't the first time this issue had been raised with property mgmt. The property location is ideal as it has a 'semi'-private beach and is only yards away from the west entrance to Fiscalini Ranch. The property even provide games and toys for our grandchildren which was great, as it rained two of the five days we were there.

This is the most beautiful location in all of Cambria.
The view coupled with the direct beach access is unbeatable. However, for the price the living room furniture should be updated, the kitchen knives sorely need to be sharpened, the TV & cable box are difficult to use in that both the controllers have to be used separately. Also several kitchen lights were out. But,the Breen staff is wonderful. I highly recommend Breen Rentals and this location, you won't regret your stay.

The hot water handle broke on main level guest bedroom, we had to use a pair of pliers to turn on and off for the last 3 mornings. This was the only Disappointment we had. You can,t beat the view off the back deck. Truly amazing to wake up to every morning and to watch the Sunset every Evening.

This is the third year we have rented this home. It is contemporary and easy to feel right at home. Easy access to hiking trails and Cambria.

Three generations stayed for 3 days. Wish it was longer. The house offers everything we wanted but the ample space and amazing setting surpassed our hopes. We would love to visit again. I could go on and on but let me say the place was spotless and Breen staff could not have been more pleasant. Thank you!

The place was clean and very well furnished. The hot water heater went out towards the end of our stay. We attempted to light, but had to take an ice cold shower prior to the wedding. There wasn’t time to contact Breen prior. We would gladly stay in this home again

The home was clean, furniture was comfortable, the kitchen very spacious for cooking meals with friends or family, and the views amazing!!! I will definitely rent here again in the future!

Everything about our stay was amazing - from the easy check-in, nice people, sparkling clean house and gorgeous scenery. Everything in the house is top of the line and this was the cleanest house we have ever rented. I travel with cleaning supplies and didn't need to use them. If you ever want to rent in this area I suggest you go through Breen - they are the best!

Had a great weekend! The Jacuzzi tub on the deck and private staircase down to the beach were the best part of our stay at Sandy Beach. The house was very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful windows all along the back deck offered a wonderful view of the ocean. Will definitely go back.

This was our second stay at Sandy Beach and again you can't find a better place to stay in Cambria being right on the ocean. Everything was perfect, no issues at all. This is just the perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable get-away. My only suggestion for improvement would be to replace the living room furniture, the sofa is somewhat worn out. Another suggestion would be to install one of those folding awnings on the deck. Other than that we will back again for another wonderful week.

This home was perfect for our family of four with each of the three bedrooms having a dedicated bathroom. The kitchen was very easy to work in, the beds were comfortable (though steps would be handy:-)), and the living room furniture was also very nice & comfortable. It was also a nice bonus being able to park both cars inside the garage! And the deck & steps to the beach were very accommodating! We loved our time in this home & would love to return to it in the future.

We had a truly wonderful time. The house is fabulous. Incredible views, we watched whales at dinner the first night. Great little beach for shell collecting and tide pooling. And the hiking trails next door are wonderful. The house itself is well laid out and spacious with many little details that we really appreciated (games, puzzles, a cooler for the beach.

The house was beautiful, however the umbrella on deck does not work. It is all rust and has not worked for sometime! After wine tasting it was nice to sit on deck to watch the sunset, but the umbrella did not work to give us some shade!!!

This house was everything we hoped for a more. The views were spectacular and the proximity to beach, park, and nature preserve were so convenient. It was well stocked and maintained. Would definitely do it again.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already checking our calendars for when we might return.
The deck and views are amazing. The house is clean and very well stocked. Beds bedding towels are luxurious. Hot top is top notch, strong jets easy to use and set at a perfect temp. We enjoyed the deck so much we ended up cooking dinner both nights because we didn't want to leave. Perfect for womens retreat or a quite weekend with the family.

The pictures don't do it justice! Definitely my favorite place I've EVER stayed.
