This beautiful home sits in a quiet neighborhood near the quaint village of Cambria. Located on the west side of PCH, you will enjoy all the ocean breeze has to offer in addition to the endless views of the rolling hills that make this area special and unique. Newly renovated with an open floor plan and high ceilings, creating a wonderful space to gather with your friends and family. A large, well stocked kitchen to prepare meals for everybody. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms make this home a great choice for groups or large families. We allow dogs, so even your furry family can join you on your visit to the beautiful Central Coast. Pet friendly No garage access.
When you're ready to venture out and explore the beautiful Central Coast you will have many options close by. Hearst Castle and Hearst Winery, perched above the San Simeon Cove, are a short drive up the coast, and the famed Paso Robles wine country is a quick drive east. Charming San Luis Obispo is a 45-minute drive south and the Big Sur Coast is at your doorstep heading north. Cambria is the perfect starting off point for countless adventures.

This lovely property was our home away from home for 5 nights. It's beautiful, a great location for hiking around the neighborhood, dog-friendly, and plenty of space for our entire family. We will definitely rent it again!

The house is spacious, and clean and we very much enjoyed our stay there. The BBQ's ignition does not work nor does the temperature gage; it needs a new can opener in the kitchen; install a dimmer switch on the lights above the kitchen island. We had dinner one night at Indigo Moon which was fantastic and breakfast at the Creekside Garden Cafe which was also very good. We look forward to a return next year and would highly recommend Rolling Hills Vista Cottage. Thank you.

The house was super clean and up to date. The weather in early July felt like spring . The dart board was a fun extra. The house was close to town and the coast. We went to Hearst Castle, zip lining in Santa Margarita, walks along various parts of the coast, and a side trip to Morro Bay. Breen was friendly and helpful.
Negatives? Master bed was waaay to soft for me. It didn’t bother my wife. The pet fee was $130 for 2 pups. Seems like a lot but I’m not sure about that.
Would I stay there again? Absolutely

Sounds like you and your family had a good time and found plenty of activities to keep you busy during your stay!
There is definitely lots to do in the Central Coast, so you'll need to come back again to explore more places!
The pet fee is $50/per pet, but of course there is that additional $30 pet cleaning fee added since housekeeping does extra
cleaning for homes that have had dogs in them. I'm glad you wont let this stop you from coming and staying in the beautiful home in the future, though!

The rental company was pleasant and accommodating of our requests......overall it was a successful, fun, and pleasure able stay! We are planning to rent this again if we come back to this area for our annual trek.

We had the best time at this very comfortable and clean home. This home was absolutely one of the best homes we have stay. Unfortunately, the location does not get any direct sunlight and the old ambient noise we get is Highway 1. Even with that said we had a wonderful time.

We had a great time with friends and a family. Our first time out since the pandemic. The view from the huge window was fantastic, and the location was ideal. It was very close to the city center and many hiking trails. The only issue was the bed in the Master bedroom was sagging and needs to be replaced. A couple of lights were not working.

We really enjoy this property but it does need some TLC. TV in living room is next to impossible to work, no ice in freezer, light above stovetop didn't work, lots of dust underneath beds and on top of many surfaces. Water pressure in showers...almost a trickle. The driveway can be tricky too.

The home was perfect for our family vacation. The home is well-sized and comfortable for 4 adults and a pet. The kitchen, rooms, and other amenities were perfect. Lots of areas outside to sit, a table, lounge area, and fire pit. It felt quite spacious! The stairs are typical of a Cambria home, but a bit slippery for an elderly pet. The only issue we had was the cleanliness of the home. There was gunk on door handles and cabinet knobs. The doors clearly needed to be wiped down, as there were dried gunk of those as well. The fridge was empty but still dirty inside. I haven’t come to a rental home and felt the need to just clean it, but this home needed it. I spoke with the rental company and they are aware, I’m sure this issue will be resolved! Great home. I would recommend staying here.

My husband and I, along with our grown sons and their families,had a very pleasant stay at the Rolling Hills Cottage. There was plenty of room to stretch out even with two dogs and two preschoolers. Highlights for the week were the clear skies and stargazing at night, nearby hiking, and bedrooms away from the living space. The management/owner went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we might need and responded quickly to our needs and requests. . I would definitely recommend this rental to a friend.

My family loved this house. The house was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. On our walks through the neighborhood we saw wild turkeys, deer, woodpeckers and quail. We would recommend this house to everyone and we definitely plan on staying again in a few years!

This place was perfect for our needs. Great views of the hills. Very spacious and comfortable. Appreciated the shower supplies and extra towels and linens. Grill could use a good cleaning, but otherwise worked fine. Water pressure for upstairs showers not great but that may be because of conservation efforts.

Great house. Beds are super comfortable, which was a welcome surprise. Wish the fireplace was actually a usable fireplace -- that was a bummer. 4 full bedrooms which is really nice. Downstairs bedroom has NO vents so it's freezing in the winter. Yard is sweet. Wonderful neighborhood to walk around and very easly/close to town. VERY much appreciate dog friendly! I'd stay there again for sure. Management Co was good, too. Thank you

The house was great we a few exceptions (I will explain later). I would like to to start by saying that the house was in a great location, very quiet and close to town and the Hearst Castle - the highlight of the trip. Two short comings on the house: 1. The downstairs "bedroom" was very tight with the beanbag chair in it; 2. The BBQ was out of gas (as was the spare tank). Both issues are easily corrected. Overall had a great experience in Cambria, I would recommend a stay.

The house was clean, roomy and in a great location! Our entire family stayed there for our son’s wedding. It was perfect. Would highly recommended it!!
Our stay here was very nice. Beautiful view and nice patio and yard — tho since it was winter we didn’t really use them. There was a fire out and fireplace that looked inviting but we never managed to try. Bathrooms nice and clean. Very well equipped. Only real complaint was the table only sat 6 but the rental sleeps/accommodates 8. Master bed mattress not the greatest, but not awful either. Overall, great!
