This rental did not disappoint. Two of us with our 14 yo dog - steps were not a hindrance. Great fenced outdoor area and nice ocean and moon viewing. Space was perfect for us. We are planning on renting again. Prop Mgt company was great - always very responsive to email questions.

We had a nice visit, lovely area for a springtime experience... the place was clean, kitchen nice, the beds a bit on the hard side, and the sunroom view of the ocean was gorgeous!

There's a bit of a caution for older folks or those with small children: Beaucoup stairs, some in places that may surprise.

The house was spotless and very well furnished, including all the kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. We like the eclectic nature of the yard, nicely fenced for the safety of our dog. The management company was very responsive to a couple of small requests.

We have stayed at this property several times and have never been disappointed. The staff at Breen Vacation Station answered all of our questions before we arrived quickly and efficiently. You will absolutely love the view from this property.....sunrises and sunsets are incredible! The decor could use some updating, but overall it was very comfortable.

We had a great stay at this house. It had a very nice view to the ocean and Moonstone Beach in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had every utensil you would ever need and was thoughtfully very decorated for Thanksgiving! The weather was perfect and they had a BBQ as well.

Nice place.....there were stairs but not as serious as I'd read in a review. The outdoor steps are the easiest to navagate. Yard was small with a lot of plants and spider webs, but it worked ok with the dog.

Property was very clean and comfortable. View from enclosed balcony was nice especially when it was sunny. Location was not across the road from the ocean - more like1/2 mile and across from CA-1. Stairs outside from driveway to door was uneven and hard to climb for anyone with stability issues. Ended up using the garage and the inside stairs. Did not expect it to be on 3 levels with so many stairs.

This home is well appointed with a great view. We particularly wanted this view for our 4th of July week for the view if the fireworks off Shamel Park. Unfortunately, the show was only 10 minutes and stopped due to some accident at the park. Although disappointed, it wasn't the house's fault. There are lots of steps, so wouldn't recommend for anyone with limitations, whether from age or bad knees. This house could be treacherous. Overall, the location is good and had everything we needed. Our dogs loved the yard, so that was a plus.

Nice house, great view, good location. Would stay here again.

Not easy access for mobility impaired persons since one bedroom and a bath conversion are off the garage. Access to the main living area is up some pretty steep stairs from there.

This house suits us perfectly - it is clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. The kitchen has anything you might need for meals at home, and the decorations really cheered us for our Christmastime stay. One caution - pets are not allowed on furniture, but that works for us - our German Shepherd is never allowed on furniture or beds.

This was not my first experience renting through Brenn Vacation Station. I've used this same property many times in the past and will continue renting this home as long as it's on the market.

We had a wonderful time at this home. The location is great. It is near the town and the beach. It is called "That View!" for a reason, THE VIEW! We so enjoyed our mornings sitting in the enclosed window room with our cup of coffee. Would definitely return!

Everything was as advertised. The only complaint I have is the beach nearby is not dog friendly. We had to drive to another nearby beach to walk our dogs to the water.

This house is great. The views are spectacular. There is an abundance of seating areas, many with a view. The location is perfect. Easy to find, close to town and the beach. My dog Scoopy enjoyed his daily walks to town and to the beach area. The yard has ample sitting areas with lots of greenery. Perfect for my dog. He loved looking out the gate. My sister and I each had our own room and bathroom, which was great. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

The location is a block away from Main St and a few blocks from Moonstone Drive. I’ve stayed in Cambria many times and this house is my all time favorite,

We loved staying here. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to hiking and walking trails plus near the downtown area. House was very clean and our small dogs loved the yard. It’s an older house but well maintained. The only thing we would suggest is they upgrade the beds to a better mattress like a foam mattress. Otherwise everything else was great. Would stay here again.

We were very happy with the house. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, well supplied and had a wonderful ocean view. We loved all the outdoor space and enclosed yard. Easy walk to town and the beach. The check-in process and communication with Breen was excellent. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely time! The view is wonderful at all times of the day and especially at sunset. Great location. The house is spacious and pretty comfortable. Great kitchen. There have been a few updates since the photos were taken including a newer TV and sofa. Owners of small dogs may want to know that the stair railing is open. We blocked it off with boxes so our chihuahua wouldn't accidentally fall through (which worked fine for the week). Overall, a wonderful and relaxing stay!

The stair case needs rails on both sides and outside walkway. We were four seniors and didn’t feel safe. Lot’s of stairs good workout for those in bottom bedroom. Need bigger trash and outside. We used only garage entry and never enjoyed patios outside due to small of entry. The owners must be short and skinny. Downstairs bathroom shower had little water pressure. Toilet had to be plunged every other day. Overall we had a great week. Thank you.

Upon arrival, everything was as we expected, from the comforts of home, to the incredible view. The weather was perfect; the accommodations were clean; everything we needed was there. We are looking forward to staying there again!

The view from the sunroom was soothingly beautiful. It was a short walk to a business area with lots of restaurants, cafes, shops, etc. It was a short drive to beaches and hiking trails. The house itself was comfortable with all the amenities we wanted. The enclosed yard was small but with a lot of interesting artwork (e.g. Buddhas) and hidden corners; our dog loved it!

The house is just perfect for 2 couples and a dog. The kitchen is well furnished and the beds are very comfortable. The living area is spacious. Even with the foggy weather, we still enjoyed the wonderful ocean view. The fenced yard made the trip a lot easier for us and the dog.

The property description and photos were NOT accurate. Only the view was presented properly.
I found the property location inconvenient,it was not on Moonstone Beach. The street/driveway in need of repair. Garage full of disorganized items. The furniture was not what was in the photos. Kitchen remodeled but very disorganized, greasy and dirty. Yard sadly neglected, outside patios full of cobwebs, mold and we couldn't use the BBQ, Weber steamer or fire pit. Broken yard art, pond empty and full of weeds, etc. Pictures/mirrors all crooked, instructions for switches on 3x5 cards taped up on walls, handwritten, confusing. Hall closet full of old carpet and junk. Iron railing to upstairs loose, gas fire place needed to be cleaned out. Mold and dirt in all the window/screen door tracks. Front door handle loose. No TV's hooked up in bedrooms, they were in closet. House decor mid 1980's with stuffed animals and cat pics/chicken decor. Construction next door, trucks in and out all day.
I would not recommend this property to my friends or family.
Enjoyed day trips to Piedras Blancas Lighthouse, Elephant Seals, Sensorio light display in Paso Robles, and Covell Clydesdales.

We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the house. For us, above anything else is a dealbreaker. The view was fantastic and it was great to have coffee in the morning and listen to the waves. Very comfortable house with a full kitchen. The master bed was very comfortable. The house is about a 10 minute walk from the Moonstone Beach. 3 minutes from the town. Mountain biking is very close and rideable to and from the house. Highly recommend “The View!”

A few of us stayed here and we loved it so much! So peaceful and easy to get to from downtown. The staff at Breen Vacation Station were so helpful and nice! We really enjoyed dining at moonstone beach bar and grill which is right across from the ocean. No construction was going on during our stay.

The house is very cozy and comfortable. Great location within walking distance of Moonstone Beach and downtown Cambria. The view couldn't be better! Waking up each day seeing the waves washing on shore and seeing the sunset each evening was a real treat!
So many places to sit and read in the house or in the eclectic outdoor spaces. The house was very clean when we arrived.

We had a lovely stay in this property last year. One of its assets was that it was so peaceful, so when we pulled up the driveway last week and saw a portapotty next door, our response was, “Uh oh.” Sure enough, construction commenced next door the next day. Property only a few feet away. When I called Breen, they insisted that there was no obligation to inform us of construction. When, I protested, we got a call back and offer of one night refund, but I had to argue for that, stating that we live next door to a construction site in Pasadena and don’t need to pay for a vacation experience of same situation. Think that guests should be informed of construction, especially next door, in future. On a minor note, the water filter on fridge needs replacing and ice tasted off. But construction was the main issue. Too bad, because we love “That view!”

The location was perfect and the view was fantastic. The remodel was done very nicely and the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing dinners every night. Nobody was next door so we had the neighborhood to ourselves. Lots of stairs if that's a problem for you.

It was incredible. This place was just as cute as the photos. Lots of different "spaces" for different interests included! Super easy to find and getting in and around town too, even by walking. The people at Breen Rental Office were a joy to work with too!

We still had a wonderful time. We walked our two dogs down to the coffee shop daily and spent many quiet and peaceful hours reading and watching tennis. Lovely house. The location was perfect.

This is my 5th time staying at this house. My husband and I along with our dogs love this place! Great ocean view, I short walk to Main street and soo peaceful!

We had a great time staying at "That View" in Cambria. We love the town and were able to walk from the home to many shops and restaurants. We had our Frenchies with us and many venues in the town welcomed them.

We had a great time, perfect for 2 couples. overall, the house was cleaned inside but the outside seating areas had lots of cobwebs. The kitchen was equipped with all necessities. The house just needs modern linen, the towels and bed linen are old and worn out. But it was a perfect location, we would definitely rent again. Loved that view ❤️

Overall we enjoy the property but it definitely could use some improvement. For one, the smell. Not pleasant when you walk in. Our best guess was it was cat urine - I suspect cats have been in the house so if you have allergies to cats look elsewhere. We got some incense and it was fine. The mater bedroom carpet needs to be replaced - old with a lot of stains. The towels in the master bath appeared to be about 40 yrs old - taking care of those 3 things and it would be a 5 star property. Great view indeed and love the glass porch and lounge couch for reading. Great kitchen, well supplied. Location is great but should be noted that you have to walk down along the road (nice path next to guard rail)to the crosswalk to cross Hwy 1 to get to the boardwalk but its only 7 mins walk from the house so just fine. I also would only consider this property for a couple - the downstairs bedroom is basically in a basement - no windows, damp, had that smell - I wouldn't want to stay down there but the upstairs is great. Also has a great outdoor and indoor patio area. Robins, Madaline's, Sow's Ear and Sea Chest were all fantastic!

My wife our Havanese ( Wilson ) and I stayed at that view for 30 days mid Feb - mid March of 2019. We spent nearly every afternoon on the sun porch sipping a glass of wine and enjoying the view of the ocean.
The barbecue was nice and a nice area to do your grilling.
We didn’t use the downstairs bedroom but the upstairs one was very comfortable.
The kitchen was upgraded nicely although it could use some new pots and fry pans. The kitchen could also use a salad spinner and a vegetable steamer.
We loved the home location because of proximity to Main Street and the weekly farmers market.
We would rent the home again.

This is at least the third time we've rented this property. Obviously we love the place and the view is to die for. I wish we could have stayed longer. I also wish you were still offering the 2 day credit for longer stays. That would encourage us to rent That View for longer stays.

This is the 4th year I have stayed at this house. It's like home away from home. Its cozy, the view is spectacular and it's just a 3 minute walk into town. Wish I could live there! My dogs love it too!

On arrival, it is easy to be rather overwhelmed by the owner's very individual style (and there is a lot of it). However this a a good sized property in a very good location near the beach and shops of West Cambria. There is evdence that the owner has a pet and a suggestion of air freshener covering some other odours on arrival but opening windows definitely helps. Some furnishings and decor are rather weary, the outside space rather cluttered with some cobwebs in the unusual side porch. However bathrooms and kitchen were clean snd tidy and beds comfortable, its just more like an air bnb rather than a bland holiday rental. We would stay there again.

This is a great little escape! You truly can walk into town, or to Moonstone Beach. The house has tons of charm and it's very easy to relax into the view. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only improvement perhaps could be some better linens and towels, but the house is a great value and I would recommend it.

We enjoyed this lovely home, clean and comfortable and well appointed, also close to all points of interest in Cambria. Walk to Moonstone Beach and West Village.
