Perfect location! Walk to Shamel Park, Fiscalini Ranch, and ocean view benches. Beautiful ocean view. Saw roaming deer families.
Saw whale spout from dining room! Clean, cozy, spacious, with a lovely new sectional. This is our repeat home rental in Cambria. We had a lovely, relaxed vacation with spectacular weather. Love to vacation with Breen Vacation Station. Cheerful and responsive.

My husband, daughter and my sister and I stayed here for Cal Poly SLO's graduation weekend. The home was perfect for our needs. The home was very clean and comfortable. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We loved the proximity to the ocean. There is a fantastic walking path at the end of the street that overlooks the ocean. We enjoyed coffee from Lily's Cafe and dinner at Linn's in the town of Cambria. Hidden Kitchen had the best breakfast! I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Central Coast.

Of all the homes I've rented over the years, up and down the coast, this home definitely made me feel the most comfortable. I really appreciated that it was a well cared for and maintained home (and believe me, not all rentals are); super clean; fairly new looking appliances and furniture; comfortable beds. Location was great, close to town, the ocean, beach, and walking trails. It was on a busy road, and the view is partially blocked, but all in all, one of the best! Had a terrifc vacation!

The property is in very nice shape and well cared for. It's about a block from the ocean and you can hear the waves from the balcony and enjoy the sunset. The view is not completely unobstructed, but the sunsets were still very enjoyable.
The beds were very comfortable and everything was super clean.
Nearby walks to the beach and a very nice playground for the kids.

Have stayed in this house before and was very comfortable but over the years this property has become worse for the wear. Not very clean and furniture is in desperate need of replacing. Window screens are missing and cranks on many windows not working. House is good location would love to stay here again if needed repairs/cleaning is done.

This location absolutely slaps. So close to the beach and park, with easy access to the trails at Fiscalini Ranch and fantastic views. The Breen Vacation Station service is outstanding. Home amenities were as described and everything was in working order.

The home was perfect for three couples as we each had a bedroom with bath. The entire home was super clean, well equipped and comfortable. A really nice feature was the long garage that easy held two cars. Location is perfect with super easy access to the highway and Moonstone Beach. The check in process was efficient and the welcome bottle of wine appreciated! Highly recommend Windsor Castle and Bremen Station!

We spent 10 nights in Windsor Castle, perhaps our fourth time. In general it is very comfortable with two master suites. The owner does need to invest in small things, luggage racks, more wine glasses and silver ware and replacing the clunky tvs in the two main bedrooms. The garage opening is very narrow so we had to fold in our mirrors to enter and exit. Still among the best rental houses in Cambria. Bren staff is great.

Breen's tradition of gifting clients with a bottle of wine was a sweet touch to our stay. The home was well-kept, nicely designed, and cozy with all the gas fireplaces to use, if desired. My husband & I and sometimes our daughter have stayed at Windsor House for many years. We love the location, walks at Fiscalini Ranch are always a priority. We live in Carlsbad California and usually make 2 to 3 trips to Cambria every year. My husband and I are native San Diegans & love seeing the coastline and open spaces. We have enjoyed the shopping and the great places to eat there for years. The people in Cambria have always been friendly! It’s always been a place for us to recharge and rest. The only criticism I would offer was that there were literally only 2 wire clothes hangers! I even checked the downstairs bedrooms! Luckily I always bring some of my own.

Pictures are true condition of home. This updated home was perfect for our family vacay! The bedrooms are large and very comfortable with all the comforts of home. Mattresses are comfy, TV in each room, large & well-stocked kitchen, BBQ in backyard.Living room very spacious. Great location: short walking distance to Shamel Park and Moonstone Beach. Short drive to Main St Cambria (maybe a 15 minute walk, too). Balconies are a bit small, but plenty of windows to take in the ocean view. Unfortunately, the dishwasher wasn’t working during our stay, but it’s not a deal breaker. We plan to stay here again in the future!

Because it gets the hot afternoon sun on the front windows the upstairs does get very warm, even with the AC on. There are issues with those front windows not opening up well and there is a sign on one of them not to open it up at all. There is plenty of room in all the bedrooms especially the master! This was our 4th time renting this house, so we obviously like it! It is, in general, well maintained and always very clean. The location can’t be beat: close to town and many great walking paths. Our only complaint this year is that linens and dishes need replacing or supplemented. Coffee mugs and wine glasses were in short supply. Bed linens are the same as on our first visit - time for a refresh!

We have use Green fr the last few times we stayed in Cambria, but at this time Windsor Castle has best stay and will probably use it in the future.

There were only a few items that can and should be addressed:
1-a dinning room chair was broken and could be a safety issue
2-Mutliple ceiling lights in living area were out they should be replaced.
3-lights in some of the bathrooms were out
4-a stair way light was out , could be a safety issue
5-4 out of 5 base bathroom heater we not working, very nice feature is they work.
6-Could have been stocked a bite more

But as a whole we loved the place thoroughly !!

Hot water great, shower good. The kitchen was not as clean as rest of the house. We do cook when we stay at homes. This house was nice but didn't like seeing the power lines. We probably would pick something higher up on the hill so we can look beyond that. Also the road noise was more than we were used to. Overall the house was in very good condition.

The home was wonderfully decorated with ample seating for our family. Bed and bath linens were both luxurious and functional.

The hardest part for me to overcome when vacationing is a lumpy bed and scratchy bed linens. You will not find a lump or itchy linen in this rental. If you love a good nights sleep this is the rental for you.

We stayed 5 days and nights. The kitchen appliances and cookware are 1st rate! It was such a pleasure cooking and yes even cleaning in this home.
I wished we could have stayed for another week!

Our boys loved that they had their own bathroom and beds. The front deck was a wonderful place to have a morning cup of coffee. You can hear and smell the tide from the deck that is outside the dining room.

The master bedroom deck was wonderful. A glorious Cypress gave us wonderful shade and a nice place to enjoy the breeze in the late afternoon. We were blessed with wonderful weather and a full moon. The fireplaces in family room, downstairs and master bedrooms all worked without a hitch.

If you have the chance book this rental! The Breen Staff are amazing.

House was nice. Quiet neighborhood. No specific instructions for the house re: fireplaces, so contacted management company as the ones in both bedrooms did not work. They had special thermostats on wall, there was a disconnect in one, and other one pilot was out. both bathrooms had very slow draining sinks. to the point it could overflow while washing your face. Makes you turn the water off, which I guess is good for Cambria's water shortage. told management about it, but since our stay was so short, opted not to have someone come do anything while we were there. They have a smart tv, but you need an app on your phone in order to connect, so bring an HDMI cable and laptop if you want to watch your Netflix. One thing in their paperwork they gave me at the office that made me balk, they say they do not guarantee that things will be working (AC, cable, internet, TV, appliances). Had it said that on the listing, not sure I would have booked. It says it in the contract after you have paid. In future, I will ask rentals to see the fine print before I sign up. I would think it should be expected if you are renting a house, it should be guaranteed that things work, especially appliances, otherwise you would get a hotel. Beach access is walking distance as are some walking trails in the preserve blocks away. Bluff trail is gorgeous.

We loved our stay at A Windsor Castle- this was by far the best house we have rented in Cambria so far. The location is great- short walk to Shamel Park and on to Moonstone Beach. Also easy to walk to Fiscalini Ranch for a longer hike, or nice neighborhood walks by the ocean. The beds were comfortable, the house was very clean, the view was lovely, and we enjoyed it all. The only things I would note- 1) The kitchen is not very well stocked- if you are expecting chef's cookware and a cupboard of spices, this is not the house. Plenty of dishes and wine glasses, a little short on other things. 2) It is a pretty noisy house- meaning if you are in a downstairs bedroom, you can hear any movement above you. If you have kiddos (or adults)who are light sleepers, this could be tricky. Otherwise, we loved it, and would rent again!

Hello, five friends had a wonderful getaway recently at the Windsor Castle. Loved the location-- close to the beach and great walks in the surrouding area; close to Moonstone Beach.
We were disappointed, however, that the Jacuzzi bathtub didn't work or the two gas fireplaces in two bedrooms although they were advertised as doing so. I would suggest that the owners do so if advertising?
We would love to come another time.

. The furniture could use a little cleaning, but it’s not bad at all. The beds are very comfortable, we slept great. Kitchen is nice, it pretty much just as the essentials, make sure u bring all your own spices, no Tupperware for leftover foods. We loved walking to across to to the ocean and the sunsets were amazing! I would recommend this home and would definitively stay there again!

We had a great time staying in this house.We are a family of four, two adults and two children, ages 5 and 8. The split level layout of the house worked well for us. We enjoyed the ocean views and walking to the beach and to the nature preserve. The towels and linens and beds were cozy and comfortable. We would book this house again.

Just one bit of constructive criticism: some amenities (coffee filters, napkins, paper towels) that were present the first time we stayed were not provided this time. It would be helpful to have a list of what is there before we arrive.

This home provided a perfect getaway for two couples to explore Cambria and visit Hearst Castle in San Simeon. The home is immaculate, quiet and located a block from the ocean. The two master suites were a real plus and the gas fireplaces in the living room and bedrooms were a welcome addition during the cool evenings.

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. However, the limitations on how many people could be there at one time was not easy. We were responsible for hosting Christmas Day lunch and that meant having 11 people in the house. This was specifically not allowed and it made the lunch very stressful!

This house was perfect for our family of 5! We take my 75 year old mom away each year somewhere along the California Coast. This year we choose Cambria and happened to fall into Breen Vacation Station online. Thank God we did. A Windsor Castle was the exact house we were hoping for. The house itself was immaculate! The location was perfect for getting to the beach easy without a million steps. I would recommend this house to anyone in a second!

House is centrally located and very nice size house. The water pressure has a lot to be desired and as the ad says the internet and technology are not guaranteed only the house. When we stayed there was no internet. The modem is DEAD, I did report to management, but did not get a call over the weekend.
The TV's are very 1990's which we only would use at end of day so we used phone as hot spot. ATT does not get service but Verizon does :). Rooms are very large. BBQ is in a terrible location behind garage downstair and kitchen and dining are upstairs. You have to go to town to get a key and drop the key after, but they are lovely people!! So I have to say very mixed review. This is an older home with some good polish, but needs some plumbing help and updated. BTW the garage is very long and skinny.

Went to Cambria for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and rented this home. Its was very nice with great views. Had a few things that did not work but nothing that put a damper on our celebration. We let the rental company know the issues so they could take care of them for the next guests

Extremely comfortable and well-appointed home. We have stayed here in the past and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. The staff at Breen made our arrival and check in seamless. We revisited the La Terraza Mexican Grill and the Sea Chest. They should be on everyone's 'don't miss' list. Thank you Breen Vacation Station and Cambria for a great visit!

This is a great home. Second time we have rented it. Very comfortable and in a great location. The other nice thing is that there are two king beds and all bedrooms have attached baths

This home is more beautiful and spacious than the photos show! All three bedrooms had en suite bathrooms. It was a quick walk to gorgeous Moonstone Beach or old town Cambria. We opened the windows and inhaled the sea air. We sat on the upper deck and watched the stars and planets at night. We slept well in the cushy bedding. I even came home and ordered the same towels because they were so plush.
The gas fireplaces turned on with the flick of a switch. Everything was Hilton Hotels caliber. Only item of note is that the dining table is a round glass table that only fits 4- which is is considering its a 3 bed 3 bath. And you need to bring all your own supplies including essentials like Coffee and Shampoo conditioner. But if you forget, you can go buy them at the Cookie Crock in town. This is a great place and I'm looking forward to returning! Ps- Breen, this place needs a pizza cutter!

Windsor Castle was a perfect fit for we six women. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, the the location was great for a morning walk or a deck sit to watch the ocean. We especially liked each bedroom having its own bathroom.
